5/20/24:
It’s been a long time coming but my new book, Lying Down with Dogs, has finally been published according to schedule on April 9. I hope you will check it out! It’s kind of a non-memoir/memoir told in a series of inter-related essays about starting and running the animal rescue Other Mothers, as well as selected other chapters from my life. Some of the essays have been published as standalone pieces in The RavensPerch and other literary journals. I am so happy to have the entire project published as a comprehensive volume.
I should note that when ordering from Amazon, the site tries to put two “rr’s” in my name instead of the correct spelling of CARADINE. But if you type in “Lying Down with Dogs Linda Caradine,” my book will come right up. It irritates me that the title I carefully and painstakingly came up with has been used by another author. Oh well, I guess it’s hard to have any truly unique idea in this day and age. Nonetheless, I hope you will find my book of interest.
My next project, Killer Hand, a psychological thriller about a very talented serial killer on the loose in Portland, Oregon, is nearing completion. I’m looking for a publisher and already planning a sequel. I hope to have that out to you in the coming year!
In the meantime, I’m continuing to place essays and stories in the literary journals. I’m working on a complete bibliography for this website.
